Wines under the "Tbilisoba" brand are timed to one of the most important and solemn events in Georgia. Tbilisoba is an annual nationwide holiday dedicated to the harvest and the Georgian capital Tbilisi. A brand of the same name was created to honor this great event and at the same time beautify the social event. "Tbilisoba" Pirosmani is a natural semi-dry red wine made from selected Saperavi grapes grown in the Gurjaani municipality. The dry and hot climate of the region creates ideal conditions for growing grapes. The microclimate of this region is due to the interaction of the Caucasian and Tsiv-Gamborsky highlands with the Alazani River and its tributaries. The soils of the region are alluvial and deluvial there is also chernozem, carbonate humus and loam. Saperavi is perhaps the most popular Georgian grape variety, attracting with its originality. Translated from Georgian "saperavi" is translated as "paints, dyes", and this is the most appropriate name for this variety. The grapes are renowned for their intense color due to their high anthocyanin content. In the Kakheti region, Saperavi grapes have the best varietal expression, therefore they are widely cultivated by local winemakers. When the grapes ripened under the blessed Georgian sun have reached optimum maturity, and the berries have received the necessary concentration of natural sugar, they are harvested in the morning. Vinification takes place in accordance with ancient Georgian traditions using modern technologies. The wine is named after the famous Georgian artist Niko Pirosmanashvili, who wrote under the pseudonym Pirosmani.
